VGT’s sixth biennial international conference in Amsterdam

The Virtual Global Taskforce (VGT), an international alliance of law enforcement and private sector agencies dedicated to combating online child sexual abuse, is hosting its sixth biennial international conference in Amsterdam, the Netherlands Nov. 5-6, 2014.

The main topic of this year’s conference will be, “Transnational Child Sex Offenses: Protecting Children Beyond National Boundaries,” and will focus on how criminal predators use live streaming to sexually abuse children abroad on-or-offline. Experts from around the globe will be on hand to inform attendees on the latest information regarding these crimes, and to host workshops focusing on combatting predators and saving victims.

The conference will be divided into two days, with Nov. 5 open to public and Nov. 6 open to law enforcement delegates only. Attendance is free of charge and is encouraged for personnel from law enforcement, victim support, risk management, academia, private industry and nongovernmental organizations. All registrations are subject to validation.
